Work Work and More Work plus a peview of my new story Systems of War.

Hey HI and Hello. in the update im going to give you people a preview of my latest inprogress book; Systems Of War-Viral. it is the first in a three part series of a man and his team as they try to eliminate the alien 'Dogs' that are trying to destroy humanity. Im planning on making this the best book the world has ever seen. (doubtful) I can tell you one thing and that is its going to be long, the first chapter alone is a good ten pages and counting. I've been working extremly hard at it and its been really difficult trying to fit it in between drawing time, schoolwork exams, and the rest of the time im spending trying to flesh out the SOW universe. some of you may think it impossible for us to actually make the kind of leap in technolagy im suggesting in my story in the small span of a hundred years. But that will be read out upon later in my book so dont critize just yet...
anyways i think its time to get on with the preview so enjoy and after wards ill give you picture with summery to end the post. ^_^

-Prologue

One hundred years after the assignation of the president, man had made fantastic strides in his evolution in our universe. What was once just a union between continents is now a union between solar systems. The Cooperation known as Marcanus Corp. has grown from a small government research branch into a full fledged agency working for the humanities greater good. In the year 2010 on the eve of the president’s murder they unveiled humanities greatest find; whitespace, a way to travel at great speeds to other solar systems in the milky way galaxies. So far man has discovered and claimed four systems as their own, alien life was undetected and humans began colonizing their systems planets.
But with the great change came Earths third world war, throwing a shadow across its system and losing communication with its colonies.
Thirty-six years later in 2096 with the help of the Marcanus Corp.’s genetically enhance super solider Knights, Earth was rediscovered and rebuilt. The humans finally declared the systems united in 2099 pronouncing Earth the King of the United Solar Systems of Emerica.
But death would not let war be banished so easily and on New Years Eve Planet Emily vanished and the Dogs revealed themselves. Mans first contact with aliens on a galactic scale had arrived and with it the first ever System War.
This is the story of it beginning and its end.
This is the story of humanities last chance to prove it is worthy of existence.
This is Systems of War.

--Chpater Zero; the last mission
The line cutoff, Brittany’s hand had been holding her arm up so as to keep in on her ear as she kept listening. Cuts in her skin leaked blood as her nails dug into her, she couldn’t feel it; her entire body had gone numb for terror. She unclasped her arm and pushed a button without a lit light above it and breathed deeply. She was shivering all over, fear taking over her body. A dial tone came from the receiver and a noise came from the corner of the room like a fuzzy blanket hitting the ground. Her eyes shot to the corner straining them to see the source of the noise, her hand began instinctively to dial the three digit emergency number. Another noise came from the darkness this time behind her; she turned, and faced nothingness. The blood in her veins began to freeze, the hair on the back of her neck stood. The receiver rang, once, and then twice. She lowered herself and slid beneath her desk, barley able to think she just sat in the corner, waiting. A voice answered at the other end of the receiver, a woman with a half trembling voice said in unbelievable calm voice into Brittany’s ears to state her emergency. Brittany opened her mouth, and as she did her heart stopped. The blue glow of her monitor was now glowing off of a sleek black lipless white eyed head, looking a bit dinosaur-like except with no skin. Its muscles contained within a small suranwrap-like coat, three tendrils like horns slithered this way and that as if they had life of their own. Brittany stopped thinking, stopped moving and stopped breathing, her lips moved cheek pressed hard against the edge of her phone. Tears ran down her face, their salty taste of her terror entering her mouth. Her voice now, dry and shaking, said three quiet words into the receiver and she closed her eyes.
“God help us…”







Well there you have it all the goodness of Milk with the the strawberrys to boot. i hoped you liked it. i only mentioned the main charictars once in the prologue but just to wet your apetite ill give you a picture of one of the main charictars; Dominion Edwin Daemon.
OK so i posted this up on Deviantart so i reoment checking it out it look so friggen sweet. i even got it as a print if any one wants. i realize he looks like a gear dont bug me about that. everything you see on him has a function that ill list in my explaination doc. this one took me about two hours to draw in the span of two days. i used a normal pencil and a steadler .01 felt tipped pen. i colored the sucker in photoshop 7. this guy is supposed to be a representaion of me. i based the look on a number of things viktor krum from Harry Potter. the GOW suits and a bit of Halo too. all in all it lookes pretty damn good.
